since my mudflaps are over 20 years old, they aren't exactly a very good shade of black. I was wondering if I could Plastidip my mudflaps black to make them look a bit better and if this would damage the mudflaps in any way.

It will not damage them, but you could try maybe a trim paint? There may be a better option for the plastic. See what others say.

I have about a half can of it left from when I painted all my chrome trim. Why do you think that it would be better than plastidip? I was thinking that I could try the plastidip and if it doesn't work I could use the trim paint.Originally posted by JasonC View PostComment

Cause you should do it right the first time. Paint is permanent, plasti dip isn't. I've used Plasti Dip on a few things on my car, lets say I will never use it again.
