I was thinking of putting chalkboard paint on my hood. My paint is chipping and I was wondering if chalk-boarding it would improve the looks. Also, whats the best way of me painting it so that it looks smooth and even. Im a bit of a noob at painting, do you think that I will just end up ruining my hood?

Some asshat PO painted the hood, deck lid, and fuel door of a swapped car, that I bought, with that shit.
It looks stupid, it's a ridiculous idea, and it is impossible to get off.
I ended up replacing the panels when I did a respray.
