I fixed my rusty rear valence! 56k>no

We spent today repairing my rusty rear valence, it bothered me from the day
I bought the car, I still have to let the paint cure before I redo the black
    bottom. Paint is from paintscratch.com.

Zinno paint in spray cans. The noxxles they gave me were shit, they didn't
spray like a fan but more like a small circle.

You're my hero. I want to do the same exact thing to my car; I guess the PO of my car had a bad trunk gasket and let water just sit there, rusting a sweet hole in the back of the jack and battery compartments.

How did you duplicate the rough texture on the valance, did you use some kind of primer that had a texture to it?

Same here, trunk hole was fixed as well, we welded in metal plates on the inside of the battery tray towards the front and welded a plate underneath as well, my friend had this rocker panel paint that sprays on and dries textured, matched almost dead on.

I used less than one can of red and less than one can of clear, a few
shots of rocker paint. Can't remember off the top of my head but goto paintscratch.com

ANy idea what kind of rocker panel paint you used?

I need to do the same thing on mine - same spot - and I'd like it to have the texture. I have paintscratch.com products coming for the Silver.

I'll ask my buddy where he got the rocker paint.

just picked up my e30, i have rust in the same spot.is this a common area for it? ive noticed on my right side under the passenger door is bubbling also. above the rear license plate and to the left is a lil surface rust. and then the best part is the drivers side front wheel well the body is crumbling??? were these cars notorius for rust or what? the car hasnt seen the east coast only alabama, illinois, kansas and here (i dont think any of those places use salt on the roads????)
