    new paint, not happy.

Well the new paint does not look like the old. Which was expected, but not this severe. My major concern is the valence does not have the texture undercoat like the rear. Im pretty pissed off over this and was wondering if you guys think i should ask them to do it, or to re paint the rear valance with out the texture? And they painted my lip body color when i told them not to, but thats not a big issue.
Ill post pics tommorrow after work, im gunna shadow line and refinish my weaves on the weekend/next week.

If my rear valence was in better condition i would have had it smoothed and re-painted along time ago. My front valence is smooth and i love it, look into an invisible bra though because rock chips are a bitch.

I would cut and polish the car first off. This will make the paint match a LOT better. I would also pull the rear valence and have it stripped and repainted so it is smooth like the front. IMO, smooth looks so much better then texturized.

Do what rede30 said and look into clear bra stuff too.

Rear valance can not be removed without being cut off. If you want that changed you will have to take the whole car in.

I'd have them redo it with the proper textured rocker paint, smooth may
look better but now it doesn't match the rest of your car and it's going to
          show chips more easily.

hmm, quite the predicament here. Perhaps ill ask them to texturize the front. But im thinking they would have done that already if they could? so maybe they dont have the proper materials?

Rocker panel paint is pretty standard, it would be easier to redo the front valence than to match the sides AND rear. The textured paint from the factory is very very tough and would take a lot of elbow grease to smooth out.

i like the look of smooth.

how much did you pay? when it comes to paint, you get what you pay for.
