Painting door pillars and IS spoiler

I want to recondition these two items in black. Should I use SEM paint? also what would look best, satin or gloss? I plan on recondition the chrome parts too, which i will definetly use the satin.

SEM Self-Etching Primer and SEM Black Trim Paint in Satin Black.
Should do the trick very nicely.
