Poll Inside...Don't know what to do

Hey guys I need some help. Kinda stupid that I need to ask you all but I can't decide. Here it goes, I am looking at doing a bumper swap but don't really want to spend $400.00 getting them shipped here. But I could also keep the metals and put the IS valance on just until I get out of college and have more money to spend on my car.

So it's $400.00 for bumper swap...not including the valance. Or stay with metal and get an IS valance? The one I am looking at would have to be painted so keep that in mind, I have no clue how much it would cost to get it painted but I have tools to get it sanded and primed though just not the paint gun or the paint.

    Thanks

Stick with the metal bumpers and tuck them. I see red IS valances come up on eBay every once in awhile - try to get one of them.

I look all the time and haven't seen one yet. I would have bought it already.

          Aaron did you tuck yours?

Yeah - I tucked them as far as I could without cutting holes in the bottom of the bumpers to get to the mounting bolts...which was also as far as I could go without leaving big gaps where the plastic trim surround is. I'm happy with the results, others would want more of a tuck.

Why can't you find a set of plastics at a junkyard somewhere nearby?

Hell, I have a set sitting in the garage.
Dunno if I want to sell em or throw them out.
I also have an extra late model valence but I'm having that one sprayed cause the one on my car is twisted a bit.
