Removing rear plastic bumpers/bmp design valence

hello, I'm trying to figure out how to remove the rear BMP design lower valence off my '90 325i. I bought the car with it on there and could not figure out how to remove the damn thing. It looks to hook or latch on behind the rear plastic bumper and i can not get to the 2 T55 torx bolts because of the BMP lower valence in the way. Removing the black plastic trim does not unveil anything to take off the rear BMP valence either. Anyone else have any ideas how to take it apart? Is there any other way to "loosen" the rear plastic bumper piece wihtout getting to the 2 T55 torx? TIA

Remove the bumper trim strips and take out all the plastic rivets that hold the bumper cover to the bumper support...
