Help me find/replace this piece of trim

Hi, I'm a new e30 owner. I was lucky enough to find one that's cosmetically in pretty great shape, but last weekend the black rubber strip that runs above the door was ripped off on the highway.

I'm trying to shop for a new one, but all black rubber strips are looking the same online. Anyone know what it's called?

those roof gutter trim pieces are out there. mine flew off on the highway as well... i retrieved it though!!
now they have a spot of super glue at the bottom. bring on the wind tunnel!

Thanks for the tip! That part was chrome, and mine is just black rubber but it sent me on the right track. Found and ordered.


...still $250 though. Geesh.

Haha yeah, when people told me how cheap parts were for E30s I didn't realize they meant used parts off scrapyard cars. Anything that wasn't used for many BMWs is absurdly expensive new.
