    Re-skin roof

    I have some rust on the roof of my e30 2dr coupe. What options do I have to re-skin it? I want to retain the sunroof.

      This is the first time I have heard of wanting reskin and keep sunroof. You are probably better off finding a rust free body and swapping your parts over... If the roof is Rusty, what about the underside?

          I pulled the sunroof frame down. It’s just the front left corner rotted and a small section of the front left part of the sunroof hole on the skin. The rest of the roof is fine except for mangling the front part of the roof skin pulling the sunroof frame down

              I have the same problem, but my plan was to cut out the rust and weld new metal.
