    Driving without bumper carrier

So this is a fun one. I took my new purchase to a local mechanic and they noted that it was missing the front bumper carrier and bumper shocks. He said that he was quite impressed with the job and how well hidden it was but said it was unsafe to drive like that. I have found one at a local pick and pull place but was curious, how dangerous is it driving without one? Can't seem to find much info on that.

It's a crash structure, so if you never crashed in to anything you'd be fine, but since you cannot control that it's good to have.

How is the bumper attached without bumper shocks?

Hate to say this but not sure. The way the mechanic worded it, sounded like it was attached to some woodblocks attached to the frame. It's an M Tech 2 bumper by the looks of it.
