1991 ragtop. PO pulled the diving boards and installed late model plastic bumpers. Looks nice in the front. The rear is a mess; The early model valence, cut out no less for a trailer hitch makes the whole combo look like ass. Assuming I can source a used rear valence, what's involved with swapping it in? I can paint it using correct paintscratch.com materials. I'm not that talented with fabrication. Feel free to post a link if this has been answered to death.

The rear valence is part of the unibody, so it has to be cut out and then welded in.
You may want to look for an aftermarket valence meant to go over the stock valence and attach that somehow. Something like Zender/BMA/Schnitzer, etc. -
