    Painting side trim?

I really think my car would benefit from being gletscherblau all up and down save.

The blue and the chrome looks nice but black seems out of place

Anyone got some pictures of how our cars look with the trim painted?

Stick with black, otherwise it looks like you took it to maaco.

I guess I'm juyst trying to think of something to make my car stand out...

Rims and an IS lip would help, my car looks too much like a stock e30 other than it being lowered.. I gotta stand out! :(

Biggest thing that would cure that problem? Ditch the bottlecaps and get some decent rims.

A paint matched iS front lip with a splitter would be hot.

Been trying to find some for a long time, my problem is I dont want to spend more than bout 400 to 500 on rims, but most of the ones that I find would look best on my car (something silver/chrome with a polished lip to accent the light blue) happen to run a ridiculous amount of money most of the time..

Once I finish some maintenance work I need to do (#19 injectors, clutch, spark plugs.. maybe fuel filter.. gotta figure out why my car is cutting power on acceleration :( ) I'm gonna start throwing down for more cosmetics once again, ellips, lip, splitter.

Do it the way I did it. Get a Makita handheld grinder, and a $5 wire wheel from Harbor Freight. It strips that shit off like mad. It takes about 2 hours to do the whole thing, but it's SO much faster and easier than chemically stripping it, and less hazardous, too.

The grinder we used wasn't a Makita, it was from Harbor Freight. It just happened to be the same color as Makita tools. And brand will work.

I do sugest wearing hearing protection however as it was LOUD. THe sound just kind of resinated off of the valence.

Well yeah, same difference. I was just saying Makita since that's the style of grinder it was, it was exactly the same.

But Andrew is right, definitely wear ear plugs. It was SO LOUD.
