    Bumper Cover ?'s (plastics)

bumper cover folks...I have some questions for you.

I see all these e30s with plastic bumper covers - but they do not have the rubber pads - why do I have pads? Do i need to buy covers without these parts? I want to paint them all black to match the car.

    Thank you.

Maybe I figured it out. I see e30s with Mtech/MtechII bumper covers. I was talking about the BMW impact strip on the factory 89+ bumper covers.

The "BMW" center impace strip is not an OEM part. I believe BavAuto is the place that sells it.

Sorry MR 325 - i mean the section that goes all the way along the bumper. My fault - poor description of what I was looking for.
