So you were missing the driver side panel? Thats the part number there. I am missing the passenger side one...
Anyways, I also just noticed there is a different part number for side skirts (not pods) for the M42 versus every other E30 coupe/sedan/touring. Odd.Reminiscing...Comment

I bought both rear pods.
I am not sure why that would be. It was my understanding they were all the same skirts. It could be you are looking at a part number that includes the install kit.'89 "is" = M technic II build mode.

PMed back!
I know the pods are different for obvious reasons - but the skirts is a weird one for me. I will look into that.'89 "is" = M technic II build mode.

Coupe Skirts
M TECHNIC 1 09/1987 51712239729 $279.00
M TECHNIC 1 09/1987 51712239730 $279.00
Sedan Skirts
M TECHNIC 1 09/1987 51712239879 $451.98
M TECHNIC 1 09/1987 51712239880
The pricing almost makes me think it is a two in one - or a kit. However the pods have small j hooks that attach to the skirts. It could be that the pods mount differently for a four door *duh* causing the cutouts to be in different places for the skirts. It is a long shot.'89 "is" = M technic II build mode.

I am getting sedan skirts from the kit I bought, I will update about that when I do a test fit. I don't expect to get the kit on quickly, so it'll be awhile.Reminiscing...Comment

The price was blank on one - so it looks like 451.98 for both maybe....'89 "is" = M technic II build mode.

You should take this to a private message. However, that is an iS lower front spoiler attached to a stock valence that has foglight covers.
The rear spoiler on the back trunklid is an M-Technic 1 spoiler. It is an OEM part, as is the front iS lower spoiler on the front of the car. Use this for part numbers and you can get them from your dealer:
