I'll prob get to the rockers next, but I may hold off until I get skirts.

As for that rear shelf, it is def on my list to turn black, it is the only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb on my interior except for my ripped seats. :(

I don't like the headlight rings black, it makes them look a lot smaller. I repainted mine with silver Rustoleum.

SEM update. After reading all the threads on the paint trim I set out to find some SEM. Our local Sherwin Williams paint store carried it. Cost me about $10.00 incl. tax. Can someone give me some info on how to take off the wiper arms and windshield cowels? Thanks for all the threads on this topic, I'll post pics once finished.

Each wiper arm has a little plastic cover over the end, where the rotator mechanism is. Pop off the plastic cover, and you will see a nut under each one, it's either a 10mm or a 13mm, you'll need a deep well. The wiper arms should come right off of the spindle. The cowl covers are just snapped in with clips, pry up around the edges of them gently with a flat blade screwdriver. They can be kind of pain to get out, but they do come out.

you just used regular undercoating paint on the rocker panels? how did you prep the panels, did you sand them at all?

Dupli bumper trim looks good on just about anything too.

Yeah, I think that guy Scheider325 used that on his car.

Hey 3v0, don't you have some pics of his car?

Anyone here who used the Duplicolor trim paint as opposed to the SEM and are having issues with it? I'm hoping to do a shadowline/trim refresh in the spring, but haven't yet been able to find some SEM. I want to to a good job that will last for a long time though. I live in Canada, I found some online retailers of SEM in USA who won't ship it over the border, but nothing in Canada as of yet.
