    What color...

I have a Zinno 318iS I'm painting using the roller method right now...

Which color do you guys think I should go for ?

    1. Zinno again. Easiest by far. Just paint over the exposed fugly charred corroded paint and go.

    2. Gloss white. An awesome color for a BMW IMHO.

    3. Warsteiner clone...you know. White with the stripes? Maybe a tasteful decal or two?

Roller painting is bad enough, at least keep it the same color.

I hear ya...I wouldn't think of it if it weren't for the fact that my car is really really ugly right now.

Know what the sad thing is? I have a really expensive HVLP setup with the turbine and everything that I don't know how to use well enough for this purpose. :-| I got it on a trade.

I am rollering mine gloss white, which doesn't show half as many imperfections as a darker color would.

Personal opinion. Take your time, do it slow, and stick with red. I think it's called "safety red". At least if you oversand/overpolish, it will go through to your factory paint and not another different color. Not to mention, you won't have to do door jambs.

if u've got a HVLP setup just rent a booth and go for it, worst come worst you gotta do it again, otherwise best case you've got a great paintjob and learned a new technique and have a paint that will last a long time and look really good.
