Which one do you like more?

Well,I know my colour isnt bright or shinny anymore
but lately I think of doing this to my car...
Whats your opinion on this? I know, crude PS but
the message is clear, isnt it? ;)

The part of the car I want to paint black is really filthy and
an expert shop requested more than 200$ to restore it
but not to the factory standard condition as they told me...

Magic wand is not always the tool to use

You're trying to go for a two-tone look, right? I could see it working out, but I'm no BMW purist

if your trying to go two-tone use the pinstripe as the median. two-tone wont look good with that blue IMO. just make it a very clean blue e30 and it will be the ish. less is more.

the upper body line on the car (where the door handle is) would be a better place to break a two tone paint job. but not with that blue. i don't know what blue but not that one.

could work with a closer shade to your og color

black seems to contrast too much it would look hot if you went with a darker or even lighter blue but staying with the blue family. try a quick ps and see what i mean.:)

That works on some Japanese cars, but on e30 it looks like you'r trying to hide the crappy paint and rust...

                  Don't do it.

Well,I know how to use Photoshop guys...;)
Just take a look at my posted photos in here...
I just needed a quick way to demonstrate what I had in mind.
And even though there isnt a hint of rust on my E30,
the paint is indeed crappy under the plastic part on my front doors...
Thats why I thought of painting this part of the car black...
I guess not rice, but not a good idea as well...:weak:
I ll think of something else...
