Well it wasn't the best, it had allot of scratches in the paint, ALOT ALOT ALOT of tiny dents that are pretty hard to see, but they are there.. clear coat had oxidation on it.. looked like i skeeted all over the car..

          Will do
The prep work was pretty good.. I like the fact that they removed all the trim peices. Most shops usually tape allot of things up.

Are you not painting the license plate strip and the strip below the tails?

The license plate strip is not necessary as he has a US plate filler, but i see what you're saying. If he decides to change his mind, he'll have to repaint it another time.

Now what about that strip below the tails? aren't you going to paint that at least?

I am in a local car club down here in the Alamo city, and it brings me nothing but awesome hookups.. The car is being painted by a friend of a member of the club who owns a BMW aftermarket performance shop.. SO he's HOOKING it up. The hole paint job will only cost me 2200 dollars, and that's with GOOD layers of paint and clear coat, FULL body work (hail damage, and shit loads of tiny dings and dents!) As you can see, the prep work has been pretty good so far, they removed all the trim door locks, anntenna, etc etc..

And yeah, i will always either have a euro or a US plate filler, so no biggie about the license plate. And i will be having a new valance put on there so no need to paint the existing one :D

Not the lower bit below the rear bumper, but the bit between the tail lights and the bumper... It's masked off in those pics?

Looks like it's going to be fantastic, though. Mtech2 is hot, 4 door is hot, new paint is hot.

Is it oem mtech2? Or replica?
