    Boot lid vinyl cover removal?

Did a search but didn't come up with what I was looking for.

I'm changing my interior from Navy to Black, and have some of the pieces ready to go, including the vinyl boot lid cover.

My question is, how do I go about removing the chrome trim, the vinyl cover and then reinstalling with the new piece?

    Thanks.

Let post this up for reference. I will look at it and see if I can figure it out. Make it easier for people to look though. I know that you have to take #13 of first. That will give you the end of the leather/vinyl whatever it is. You might be able to just start pealing it up from there, I don't think it is under that chrome but I am not sure because my car is downstairs in the parking lot.

Actually the chrome is behind the cars color so you might be able to just take part #13 off and rip up from there.

i ran into this problem when i swapped my interior from lotus white to all black.
anyways,i removed the whole lid cover off, masked the chrome trim and painted the vinyl section using interior vinyl paint i got from the auto parts store(pep boys)-i wiped the surface first with alcohol to prep it before i painted-so far it's,been about 4 years and it has held up pretty well-no fades or chips.
          hope this helps:-)

Did you do the rest of the interior pieces as well?

            BTW, nice ride.
