paintless dent removal or new fender?

    :(

I got into a bit of a fender-bender (literally) tonight:

Will I be able to fix this with paintless dent removal? Or is the only way out a new fender? The guy who rear-ended me is willing to pay for however much it ends up costing, but I would rather go with the easiest/cheapest method.

Also, does anybody know of any good bodyshops or places to get this fixed in the Pasadena (Los Angeles) area? Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mikey

You will need a new fender. A paintless dent remover will not be able to fix that.

I'm going with a new fender too. Although it can be fixed it would cost more than replacing the fender. What you want to do is get a used fender in your cars color. It should match as long as your car is the factory color and not a re-spray in a different color. Seeing that you have some stone chips a used fender will probably look better than a freshly sprayed one. It'll bolt right up except you'll have to re-do the seal by the fuse box with some seam sealer.

I could fix that in less than an hour and get it ready for paint. Body work knowledge FTW...
