i did no such thing, i read his question as did the 325ic come with a rear apron that can be easily installed.
furthermore it woulda been easier just to shoot me down using the 93 mtech2 verts than the welding on of a sheetmetal apron from a late modelYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Actually you are both right, and no one is spreading incorrect information.
All diving board cabrios do not come with what you'd consider to be a rear apron, so your '91 is not missing anything. That's just how it came from factory.
Plastic bumper cabrios which came out in late '91 did have a metal rear apron as part of the body. You can do like Mr. Anderson has done and cut off a rear apron from a late model e30 and affix it to your early model cabrio.
Alternatively, you can buy a Racing Dynamics apron from Bavauto.com or m-tech II add-on apron made by EuroStyle on Maxbimmer. Or, if you can afford it, you could install either an BMW m-tech I kit or an m-tech II kit.
Those are pretty much the best options I can suggest. Let me know if you want some pics or more info.
