    -1.

There's a reason Porsche was the 1st to black the wiper arms when chrome was en vogue for all the other companies. Can you say "sun glare"?

Black chrome was my 1st idea for my kidney rings, but then CF just became more & more an obsession, so we all know what I plan....even if I have to do my own myself. I prefer the black bias over the chrome for kidneys, and the Ford Outlaw series made me think that black chrome is too subtle for my taste, but it will be interesting to see what yours look like, especially since I can do it on your wallet.

How soon you getting these back in your hands?

Yeah, it is plastic with chrome on it. It does not stop the fact that I am still getting it black chromed. :)

Really? I sanded mine down with 80 grit before I painted them silver, and I got them pretty torn up by the time I was done. I sanded them quite a bit, tho.

If someone can find ALL the window trim, and a place to ship it - I will have it done.

do it, i love this idea. I have always loved the bmw wheels that are kind of like this. The e39 ///m5 wheels are the best example. Someone should do all window trim and kidneys.

whatever it is, it's thick and tough as nails. I tried to sand through it once.. uhh, yeah. :p

I will know more very soon. I called to see what they thought - I am going to send it in for them to look at.

Interested to see how this will turn out, as I'm thinkin about this for not only the kidneys on my car.

I am going to buy a new grill and send it out to advanced plating this week.

I was going to black it out, and I have one that I did - it was not for me, and it was too much for a black car. :( Too black! I like the chrome a hell of a lot - so I figure the black chrome would be right to my taste! :)
