When swapping to late model plastic bumpers, is the late model front valence absolutely necessary to mount the front bumper? I'm asking because i'm not really going to be needing it as far as looks and if i don't have to buy one then i'd rather not.

What do you plan on running for a under bumper spoiler? If nothing, it will still look like a buck tooth bob pre-runner.'89 "is" = M technic II build mode.

'87 iS spoiler. I've always wanted to see if I can make it look good.
But can anybody confirm whether or not the late model spoiler is required to mount the bumper? I know there are some side clips on the fender in front of the wheel to adjust the bumper sides up and down and I want to know if the late model spoiler is required to attach those.Comment
