Color Change Advice : Silver to ……

Who’s done a color change? What was your experience?
I was already planning on pulling the motor to have the bay painted, and I can disassemble enough of the interior to make the sills available.
The car has already been auto-to-manual-swapped, so I’m not terribly concerned about holding on to some distant memory of ‘that’s not the way it came from the factory’ or concerned for resale value. I would like to keep it within the ‘silver’ family however, and, an OEM BMW color.
I’d think it’d look pretty sharp with the black interior, and Cardinal seats I should have installed in the near future.
