IS lip - black or white on Alpine II car?

I have a new OE IS lip spoiler that I'm wanting to put on soon. Should I go black or white on an Alpine II car?

I can't really decide b/c the car has white foglight blanks and brake ducts, and I'm not sure if there will be too much white up front with a white lip.

I actually won some smoked front signals at the picnic... they're on there now. :)

I'm going to go black at first and then if it looks shitty I can always have it sprayed.

Yeah, I was actually checking yours out. I think the white looks great on yours with the fogs and black ducts... but mine is all white up front. I think it may look too bland.

I agree. If you keep everything as is go with black. Look at Clay's car. His is basically what you would be looking at, but it is silver (similar color being a light car with black lip).

Body color or bust. I think black iS lip looks cheap on any car other than black ones (obviously).

Needless to say mine is currently black as I am poor.

That's what I would do if I couldn't decide. Hit it with SEM satin and rock a black lip for awhile. If you don't like it, spray it Weiss and get a Ryan G splitter for a little contrast.

It's a 50-50. When put Fidhle's Rieger back together it was painted white and I loved it, but I chose to paint it black because it hides the many imperfections that I'd never take the time to fix (mainly because in my hobby, those lips have a short life span).

But I like it black as well. You can clearly see it in person, and it looks mean.

I personaly think that black goes well with black wheels, smoked lights, etc. If the car is stock, paint it body color.

Well I sprayed it with some SEM satin black last night and mounted it up. It was nice that it came primed from the dealer. I'll snap some pictures soon. I'm going to wait until I mount my missing fog light blank before I make any final desicion on the color.
