I left my plastic lip clips in place and then set the replica right into them , just like the "is" lip would be .
After centering it up I drilled holes through the bottom lip of the valance and then drilled corresponding holes into the replica .
Then just used zip-ties to hold it into place .
I've only got 7 zip-ties holding it on .
One on each end , one on each corner , one in the center and two on the front of the valance .
You can see the white clips on the pic I posted , they help support/hold the lip into place and the zip-ties keep it from going anywhere .
