    E46 M3 Lookalike Body Kit

Anyone have experience or currently have this body kit on their car? I'd like to know what you guys think about it.

If you didn't have some post count, I'd have called you a troll even bringing up this idea.

You obviously have some initiative in you, motor swap and all - but know when to say "when" - you might be suffering from "upgraditis", and you want to do a bunch of stuff - great. Use your energy to do good rather than to chachi up your ride.

But do yourself a favor and take a good look at the cars on ebay that are wearing/selling these kits - do you seriously think it looks good?

Buy yourself some late model plastic bumpers, and save that extra cash for some Recaros, or start an autocross budget.

Or save some more money and buy a E46 - just leave your E30 alone. It looks great & with the motor swap it must run like a champ. Just leave the bodykits alone, or at least not pick the E46 wannabe ones.

I know I sound like all the other guys who say not to do things too far out of the norm, but this is one subject I agree with them on.

In the end once you were done I think you'd take a step back and look at your car and think "Oh crap, I think I went too far."

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Wow. You don't get laid much do you.

What kind of useful insight can you give me about putting an E30 M3 front/rear bumper on an E30?

IMO I don't think that looks too good either. E30 M3 bumpers belong on E30 M3s.

Ok look. I'm not looking for everyones opinions on what they think looks good or not. So save the condescending bullshit for someone else who wants to hear it.

I'm trying to ask someone who as actually put those bumpers on their e30 (e30 m3 or e46 m3 lookalike).

I was being nice - but if you want to be an ass you shouldn't have brought up the subject - the 2 guys ahead of me gave you the same vote there, Skipper.

blunt might sue me for copyright infringement, but suck a ghetto dick. It'll get you warmed up for what you make your car look like.

Ya but see, I was asking the people who have done it, or have had experience with it. And you are neither of those.

point blank, ur on the wrong board for that... u wont find a lot of people here that have done that, because as you've experienced, not too many think it looks all that great.

You need to ask these queer questions over on the appropriate sites like maxbimmer or some other clueless site .

Ok lets not all get our panties in a bunch at the same time now.

Thanks bimmer_adam69 and Majikal for giving me some actual "insight". Because that is the idea of a forum, to spread useful information to others, right? Not to try and preach ones opinion and spread "Assholitis" (I took that one from LINUS) to everyone else. You guys think I'm going to pretend to agree with every little condescending word you guys say because you have 2000 posts or what?

All I wanted as stated in my original post was to gather a little bit of knowledge on the bumpers from someone who HAS THEM, or SEEN them, or even TOUCHED one, and THEIR OPINION on it.
