How can you tell that from the pictures though? I can't see it. I mean, the pictures before paint show some flaws, but I can't see them in the final pictures.

I see high spots near the character line and the waviness on the line itself.
You'd probably see it better if he took pics that weren't dead on.

No offense to you Frank, I know you're not a professional body guy.

Great job! Congrats on carrying through and completing the work. It looks great!

Sure, its not perfect. But you also didn't spend $3000 repairing it either!

Matt, I know. It's far from perfect. It's not bad for an amature and to the untrained eye it's barely noticeable.

My next project is to probably drop the drivetrain/suspension into a new shell. Make it a sleeper.

Great Job on the work. But why would you want to swap stuff over to a different shell when you've worked so hard on this one?

I know how much crappy work it is to swap that section out, it looks just fine in the pics.

In the last 2 pics, have you wetsanded and polished the paint yet? It doesnt seem quite as glossy as the rest of the car.

                      Great repair none the less!

Hey, i have not polished the paint yet, only because i still need to do the stripes. Once i do the stripes, i can wetsand and polish the whole fender as a complete unit...
