BMW paint colors and Duplicolor equivalents?

    I'm hoping this exists somewhere:
I'm going to paint a few parts on my Alpine White II, but when I went to the local Murray's there were about 8 shades of white spray paint. How do I find the best match without buying all the whites and testing them (you can't return a spray can once it's been used)?

What would be easiest, for example, is some table somewhere that said "BMW Alpine White II equivalent to Duplicolor Arctic White" or something....

Yes I know about paintscratch.com, but that's too expensive for me at $25/can.

As far as I know there is only one duplicolor paint that matched the factory paint - and that is black, sorry.

Try towerpaint.com - they are a bit cheaper.

If they are small you may be able to get away with using dealership touch-up paint, but I really doubt that will work for you.

Go to an automotive paint supplier. The local paint supplier I use has two books full of BMW factory paints. In their computer database they have the exact recipe to duplicate factory colors.

So try an auto paint supplier. Good luck.
