    Satin/Flat Black

    Anyone have pics of a black primered E30 or satin black? I want to see how this would look. I have 15x8 0et sportmax 002's in gunmetal and my friends and I thought it would look sick...BTW my paint looks like brushed aluminum, yeah, that shitty

          I do not care for the whole "Rat Rod" look, but it sure is popular.

          Probably better than nasty oxidized silver, right?

              If it's done right it looks very good. When you buy new panels from bmw, they come in matte black, I thought about buying all new panels when Ihad my e30 and doing a matte black car.

              Here's a thread with a guy on BF, he's doing a matte black m coupe.

                  If you rattle bomb it will look like crap (wheres d325 when you need him?), but if you use a spray gun it looks pretty good. Theres also the option of that johndeer black paint.

                              we did this with spray cans and it came out pretty shitty but in these pics it isn't as bad but ehhh...

                                  I personally haven't tried, but I hear that John Deere Blitz Black is the paint to use for a nice matte finish.
