    M3 replica fenders- Pricing, etc

Just got a quote from Fiberartz.com for m3 replica front fenders and bumpers

the front fenders run $350 a pop and the rears are another $300 a piece.. So $1300 for replica fenders and they want another $900 for the front and rear bumper..

Anyone know of anywhere with more affordable pricing? I know you can get the Evo2 front bumper and skirts for less from the seller on ebay, but is $1300 justifiable (even a word?) on fenders?

    Opinions?

When tring to make your car have the M look you are limited to how to do it. And either of the ways you go about it well its not cheap by any means. That is unless you find that lucky deal on ebay or something along those lines but even at that its a long shot. So good luck

You probably already know this, but the rear roof is different. Also the windshield is different, the trunk, yada yada. The roof would be a bitch to replicate.

Yes very true !! forgot to mention that as well. It really isnt worth it to convert over to the look IMO plus if you want a M just buy a M

Yea, I am aware of the roof, etc. I was thinking I might do a vert.. Either way, I just want the wide body. I am not planning truely replicating the car.

And if I had the $$ to buy a M3 I would. But this way will save me money and I get it my way. I have trouble saving up much more than $2k at a time. I can earn it fast, but I spend it just as quickly, but on meaning less..shit..for a lack of better terms.

This way I figure I can have the solid body to work with, spend $2k on body panels to get the exterior where I want it. More $ on prep, fitting and paint, $2k more on an engine and more to have it swapped. And I can have it whatever color I want.

I just wanted to make sure that I was not just dropping the $1300 any not shopping around. If that is what I have to pay, that is what I will..

            Thanks for the quick input.

well in that case why don't you just look for a M3 shell for sale and if I am correct I have seen one on here for sale recently too. But I have seen shells run around $2000-$3000 so that might be the better way to go for you rather than spending the money to get the look. Or you can always use the fender flares that Ireland Engineering sells for a wide body look too and save lots of money

here is a guy selling body parts

but I swear I saw a grey shell for sale recently too just do a search

keep in mind that if you buy fiberglass replica fenders/quarter panels you will have to spend a lot of time fitting/working with it until it will fit somewhere close to the OEM, non of the fiberglass parts come with any brakets and hardware and you will have to use your imagination/talents to try to fit them, on top of all the sanding/prepping etc... not a very easy job and not for someone who doesn't know how to do it...
