    to pinstripe or not?

I'm wondering if it would look good to continue the motorsports pinstripes around the back on to the trunk, like most e30's....or leave them on just the sides. Opinions? The stripes were custom painted on the the PO, and I need to have them touched up anyway:

The original motorsport stripes on m-tech 'verts were different, and did not continue to the trunk:

so, pinstripe the trunk or not?

I would redo them like real ones if I was going to do anything. Otherwise, no.

IMO, pinstripes don't look right on a trunk.

I personally am not a big fan of stripes at all but would not go with them on the trunk period. They have to come upwards off of the side body lines some to make the corner to line up with the trunk and when you get to the roundel emblem usually the top stripe has to be cut and sectioned be cause both stripes in most cases wil not fit well below the roundel... and you usually end up with only one stripe beneath the roundel(look at picture from above poster)... so I vote no

                ...

yea... its pretty silly looking... racing stripe and pin stripe is to accentuate the smooth forward lines and sense of aerodynamics of the car.. if you wrap around the back... it looks like you just tied your e30 up with a lasso.
