    Expected Price

How much should I expect to pay to get my e30 repainted completely? I know it's expensive, but I just want to know whether I'm going to get ripped off before I get any quotes.

at the low end, you can pay a ton of money on paint and bodywork. Just ask around town who is reputable, and drive in and get some quotes.

It depends on the area. Around here, I was quoted $4000 on the low end to repaint my MG. And that was with it stripped and ready to paint. I had estimates as high as $5500.

huh? He's in Oregon. Depends on the shop, most of them like to work with insurance claims. Around here I was quoted $4500 with all trim removed and body work ready for paint.

I think he was trying to say that those quotes were really high. And yes, yes they were.
