    Stock or M-Tech?

Do to a recent incident (Raccoon 1, BMW 0) I'm going to be doing some repairs to my car soon. I'm toying with the idea of going with something other than the stock front end but as usual there's not much out there that's not totally horrid. An M-tech II front bumper/valance would be about $30 more than a new stock valance and IS lip and labor shouldn't be too bad but I wouldn't be able to afford the rest of the kit and I'm worried it would look like crap. Any thoughts or recomendations for front ends to look at?

    Thanks!
    Brendan

The Mtechnik still requires you to use your stock valance under it. Check out the racing dynamics front ends too. I think bav has some.

I personally do not think the front valance and nothing else would look horrid. just save and add on as you go.

It had an IS lip and RyanG splitter before, I may just go that route again.

        Hi Fidhle007 & Vaporblade

Doesnt the Mtech 2 front fender/bumper consist of the bumper + lower valance?

I have a pic but dunno how to paste onto this thread.....

Fidhle007, I am looking to fix the full set (if can find) but will settle for only the front on my e30 - u know where to get original ones (Fibreglass ones tend to be wavy and the paint cracks overtime rite?).

Used or new ones are fine.

I m willing to swap my stock too.

Hmm, but that doesn't save me any money... Current estimate is a little over a grand, but I'm hoping the insurance co. will come through with some more. I'd really like to get everything repaired REALLY WELL and not cut any corners. The front end of this car was never perfectly straight from when my friend crashed it years ago and I think this will be a good opportunity to get in there and really pull everything straight. Trying to see a bright side in this....
