    Hot Rod Flatz Q's

I'm going to do a roller paint job...given the results, I wouldn't even think twice about it BUT I'm going a different route, just to be difficult. Flat colors are what I'm looking for...Hot Rod Flatz is the long lasting flat that the hot rodders use to achieve the look without sacraficing the durability
Huge supplier of Automotive Paint, Auto Body Supplies, Airbrush Equipment, Car Detailing Supplies, Pinstripe Paint, Spray Guns & Safety Respirators at Wholesale Prices. Our items are factory direct and we carry a wide variety of Top Quality Brands.

Would this be feasible as a roller paint job? It looks as though it isn't two stages...but I would be wrong.

    Any thoughts on this product?

No, I don't think you can roll that. and if a flat was rolled, it would look like a orange peel.

Will "Orange Peel Roller Ride" be the next hoodride sub-trend?

i was afraid of the orange peel...wouldn't the hardener help in reducing the orange peel?

any other ideas/suggestions for a flat with color options that might be rollable?

so i've been looking into other flat options...rustoleum has a flat black, white, and grey but i really don't want those.

I called some places to see if I could make my own mix, they say it can't happen. I called Rustoleum and they are on central time, so they're closed...anyone else want to point me in the direction of flats with different colors? PLEASE!

check into dp 90 paint. I've got the flat black on my chevy. Its a primer, but doesn't rust like primers normally do after long time in weather.

Rustoleum is what people use with their roller paint jobs. Google it.

The hot rod flatz would have to be sprayed properly, otherwise it'd end up shit.

I've been considering the dark grey primer tone for a while now. I'd go with some subtle pin striping with my own logos too.

i was hoping that there was some alternative to the flat color look with roller job...but that's fine by me.

I talked with a buddy of mine and we're going to set up a paint booth in his garage and spray away.

I ordered the Hot Rod Flatz booklet today to see what color is the best...and then it's paint away!!

What flat would you pick if it were you?

I'd go the dark primer grey tone. Or maaaaaybe the gunsmoke metallic.
