Been roller painting the '88 IS:

And let me just give a huge thanks to all the threads started and every link given. They inspired me and truly made the process worth while. I'll get pictures up soon but this is mostly a huge "Thank you" thread for all the time and effort put forth by others who have given such great information on the process.

The car was a mixed with 70>30 "Rustoleum" Gloss Sunrise Red and 100% Mineral Spirits. Sanded with a progressive 180-320-400-800 process and wet sanded with 600-800-1000 between each coat of paint. Wet sanded with 800-1000 after two coats on the body, fenders, doors and hood. I'm in the final two coats and the car already has had several Pizza Delivery guys asking how I painted the car. It's fantastically smooth and glossy. I've taken alot of time with the sanding between coats and tried numerous methods with using the roller.

Thanks a bunch to everyone out there who has completed this nifty, cheap process.

Pic's to follow when the Camera gets back home...

looks like you put the sanding work into to make it come out real nice... looking forward to pics. Sanding is the most annoying part!
