    removing and replacing rear wheelhouse / inner fender

    Anyone replace a rear wheelhouse before? It's the sheetmetal between the rear quarter panel and the rear shock tower. Mine is rusted on the passenger side, right where it would normally attach to the rear fender lip.

    I think it is spot welded... am I right? Any tips on removal? Do I have to zip out the quarter panel first?

        Yeah that myspace pic def made the thing worth watching . :D

        Alas it does not look like too much fun .
        You can always run a few fat beads of seam sealer up there to get it to cooperate for a while .

          Well, the rear of the quarter panel was slightly punched in by the PO of my car backing into the brushguard of a Land Rover Discovery, so I guess I'll kill 2 birds with one stone and do both panels. arg.
