Well, what's wrong with yours? Have you got one..?

Valences aren't always the cheapest things, and there are a variety of types produced originally and there's some nice sport-made ones, too. Different kinds (year/model/etc) attach and secure differently, some are harder to remove/install than others.

I'd get under yours and check it out for starters, and decide what exactly you want to do. Look at E30 pics on here and on other forums and on the internet, some ppl on here have some very interesting front valences/spoilers. First decide what valence style you like.

    Also keep fogs in mind.

Well i was driving in the curvy roads of oregon and it turned into gravel and my car went completly sideways and then after a little correction, and sliding back and fourth I went into a ditch. :-( so my valence is pretty bent out of shape. I have a 1990 325i 2 door. i just want to get another stock one.

Touge, the stock valence is riveted(?) in so i have no idea how you're supposed to sticka stock one back on (hammer?). I had the same thing happen, and after replacing the OEM bumper I bought a fiberglass valence and mounted it to the bumper itself. I've done a full rebuild of my front myself and I live in Tigard so if you ever want to meet up let me know.

The front valence on late models is not riveted to anything unless its been repaired by a shoddy shop.

There are about 8 screws maybe 10 that hold the whole thing on. The front valence is one piece with the sheet metal that is under the headlights and above the bumper as well. There are two screws, one top and one bottom attaching each fender on the front to it. There are two more behind the bumper on each side. Then there are 4 I beleive on the front facing forward. With all those , it will come straight off. However, it is still behind the fender mind you, so you have to tweek it a little, or create some play to get it out of the front fender lips.

it took me forever to find a descent used valance. you might just want to chuck it up as a $264 loss(plus paint) and buy a new one form bma. i just bought some a/c lines and the specE30 discount code still worked.
