what to do about this rust

i have great size rust holes in my floorpans, trunk, engine bay, and sun roof. i believe thats it. i want to just patch them with fiberglass. i mean i might do that but i already have the materials for welding.

after i patch em up, what do i put over the metal to keep it from rusting?

if you really wanna get down to fixing the car, then take it down to a bare chassis and weld them up. or have them welded up and then repaint everything.
however it sounds like you have alot and they are all over so like said before, the best idea would be to get another car.
