    e28 Sunroof panel?

    Off hand, does anyone know if a metal sunroof panel off an E28 will fit on an E30?

    I'm guessing no but its worth a shot for free parts.

          no, i doesnt fit. It's too big. I measured a junk e28 im tearing apart in hopes it would work for me. :( it doesnt

                  Well if its glass and too big, maybe it would be possible to have a shop grind it down to the right size?

                          well if that were the case (which it isnt) people wouldnt be paying out the ass for moonroofs, they would be slapping in saab 9000 glass.

                              yup, i thought about the same thing but its just not worth it. i have one just sitting too.
