Help:Tools for Removing Rear Metal valance of a 88+?

    I found a guy parting a '88+ e30.
I'm going to get the rear bottom metal valance that is welded to the body.

I was wondering what tools do i need for removing the rear bumper and the bottom valance?

I think harbor freight is having a special on a "high speed air body saw" for like 12.78 (link: http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/....do?itemid=113 )

    Will that work?

Taylor rental or Home Depot that rents tools, Sawzall's are perfect for this.

        Plasma torch FTMFW !!

diving board car ?? There are 3-4 bolts inside the trunk and underneath the car, around the battery area and jack area that have to be removed(just look under the car and follow the bumper shocks into the car and look in those areas for them). I think they are 17mm but not positive. Then the bumper pulls off. Then you will see the smaller nut head screws(8mm I think) that hold the bumper trim on.

Plastic bumper car you will need either a large reverse torx socket or large allen socket. I have seen both used. There are two bolts on the underside of the bumper. Just remove and pull bumper off after disconnecting the corner marker lights. Then unbolt shocks

just rent one from home depot rental dept. The one you would want would be easily $125+. The smaller $70-$125 ones are not very powerful at all. You can probably rent one of the more powerful ones from home depot for around $35

Plasma torch would be ideal but not everyone has the big pockets for that toy.
