    Safari Beige???

I was at the junkyard today and I spotted this GROSSSS yellowish brownish E30. Upon further inspection under the hood, it was "Safari Beige". It had that gross "Testarossa" wanna be kit on it. The paint was original as far as I could tell, under the hood, doors, trunk.
Does anyone have pics of what this color looks like cleaned up? I really just can't picture it looking good at all. And what years was this color offered?

It did but it was obliterated. No amount of fiberglass could bring that thing back.

Aww :(, that's the only part of that kit that people want. Or it didn't have this rear spoiler on it did it?? Seeing that it's a Kamei kit. Maybe it has the rear spoiler too.

It did, but I am not sure of the condition of it.

Too lazy to edit, what rims are those on the white 325iS right there?

I have seen this color in person, it is truly hideous. It is a dark cream off white that looks awful, regardless of its condition.

Don't bother, even if it is a rare color...and there's a reason for that. I do know it was an early body color only, no late models.
                Reminiscing...

It's not that bad and if it was why do many manufacters still offer a bronze/goldish color? It sells. In good shape Safari is nice as is Bronzit.

This is the only picture i can find of one in that color. All the rest are really grainy. The color reminds me of a Chevrolet Celeberty.

I like it. There is an early model at an apartment complex 2 blocks from my house. Stock ride height with caps. Nice classic look.
