There was a guy on here a long time ago that posted a 325es with $40K into it. It was red with an e46 M3 kit on it, and a lot of other stuff, but basically a stock motor with a bunch of bolt on's. Needless to say he got flamed pretty bad. The point to my story is he ended up wrecking his car, and bought my first e30 as a new project. He told me that he was planing on choping the roof and such. Wonder if it ever happened. Didnt really know the guy.

    NOICE!!!!

I thought that was a pretty solid car, glad it's workin' out for you.

FWIW, I still have not been able to get current contact info for the guy who I bought it from.....but it sounds like you got that squared away.

Yeah, that's an example of my handiwork- that car is sitting out next to my barn right now. My buddy "Weird" Al Taylor and I built that car one Saturday- we probably spent 4-5 hours on it. We took it to the Korman Autoworks Open house a couple of years ago- that's where those pics were taken. We trailered it there, but dropped it off in a nearby parking lot and actually drove it into Korman's parking lot. It was loud as hell- we just removed the complete cat-back and had the exhaust dumping straight out of the cat. I drove and Al was riding shotgun- wearing a blonde mullet wig with his head sticking straight out of the sunroof! We definitely got some looks that day. When we pulled in, we parked next to a guy in an M5. After we parked and got out of the car, he got in his car and moved it over away from our car..........too funny.

Thnaks Farbin, I never knew that.

Oh, and I secod what golde30 says. I need lower seats so the helmet doesn't rub the headliner, and so I don't slide around in my non-sports at the track...

I think a 1-3" chop would be cool, just to adjust the porportions on the car. If you can't make it wider, make it lower!

From the side it reminds me of a Dodge Charger...

The GTS kit looks sick on it though.
