    mounting hardware for side moldings

So i pulled this car appart telling myself i'll remember how to put it back together.
    ....thats never the case

so, its a late model 2-door. RealOEM shows 11 and 7 as being the two gromets used. I have some number 11's but not enough and was still confused as to what i need. (i'm only concerned about the gromets that the nippels push into)

anyone have theirs appart or this info noted down somewhere?

Not sure what your trying to figure, 11 are the grommet(s) for the fenders. The rear of the door moldings and the 1/4 moldings have the cap nuts. I believe 7 sits on pin as it passes thru panel then cap nutted.

Yep, 11's are all you need for the ones that actually have pins (fenders, IIRC). Don't break the pins off the moldings because you can't buy those seperately.

chris, i had to state late model because you just described early model.

david... i already had to buy another peice because i didnt watch a step and broke one off

thx for the info, i was going to get the others as the same, but i remember when i was taking them off, that there were two different gromets. I dont think it matters anyway, i just wanted to feel better by asking.
