This is what i'd do, since primer is not a sealant like paint is.

Best advice would be to save your money and drive that eta till it rotes. Then buy a nice E30 with good paint.

agreed, but e30 owners usually dont have 8-10,000 dolalrs for a full tear down. especially after he states that he read up on a 100dollar paint job.

    Sand and Bondo Prep-work?

What tools do I need to sand, bondo and primer my car? Does anyone have a good write up on how to do this? I am thinking of driving around in primer until I get the money to paint my car, my poor car barely has any paint. It is the color of metal right now.

So what grit of sandpaper I use and what techniques of sanding do I do? How to properly bondo a car and what primer to use and how to apply it. I read up on the under $100 paint job but my friend's uncle paints car and I can get it done cheap. I would like to have it primer'd when I send it to him so all he would have to do it touch up the primer and then paint.

    Thanks.
