anyone have an opinion of how it would look to paint my stock bottlecaps black (on my white 1987 325es).. any input is glady accepted

Searching "paint bottlecaps" will net you a bunch of threads on the subject. I think it would look decent if you paint them properly. Might want to think about pink ones, too...there may still be some money in it. :)

I didn't use straight black, more of a hammered charcoal, though it shows not at all in this photo. In direct sunlight it looks better. Prep is everything, if you go this route, and use a durable paint like Krylon, Rustoleum or similar, not the cheapest thing on the shelf at Ollie's.sigpicComment

Paint them white, thats what I did. (I use them for winter duty)
Looks about as good as bottlecaps get.-Dave
