Mtech 2 w/ black "plastic" cladding

Hey all,
I'm considering an Mtech2 kit soon. If I get one, I was thinking of a special paint scheme. I think I saw it on an E30 once before but can't find the pics now. So I thought I'd do a bit of "paintshopping" on someone's E30. Here's what I came up with (sorry for the poor quality of my paintshopping):

I know, I made the paint on the side skirts too thick. But the front is ok. What do you guys think?

I thought that it kinda gave it the E39 M-sport look, or, well, not too different than stock (Hey, E30s have plastic strips). I agree it doesnt look so good on the side... but it seems to look nice on the front...

Ive seen it look good with a 2-tone job. Silver top, darker silver on bottom.

i think the black just looks like a regular plastic bumpered e30. its mtech2 for a reason..
