Question about white paint?

I got a Vega that i'm going to paint white with orange stripes. I allready know what orange i'm going with. But i'm looking for a pure white. I know e30's have two different whites. What white is the pure white? And if BMW has any other whites that are cleaner then the whites on the e30 please tell me the color and code.

Not BMW related, but I had my old Ford Fiesta painted in a GM white. It was a white they used for eleventy billion years, though I can't tell you the actual color name. Very pure and clean. Keep your GM all GM. ;)

+1 .....BMW's white's are not very white at all actually .

It usually is the domestics that have the purest white .

That is if you you really plan/insist on using a manufacturers color ....if not then you can just tel your paint supply house to give you their pure white without anything added .

That's what i'll do then, i'll ask for their pureist white. I'm not to picky on keeping it in GM colors. I was under the assumpsion that BMW had the cleanist white paint so i'll just go the other route. Thanks.

vw has a very pure white. if you lay down a bright blue base first the white will also be brighter. Its kinda like if you snowboard or ski, the snow is white right?, but when you take off your goggles it all seems blue.
