Issue with installing rear Plastic Bumper on a Vert/Cabrio

Well folks...I've searched far and wide and I know that the plastic bumpers fit on the cabrio...in fact I have installed the front and hoping to finish the rear.

My issue is as follows...my cabrio is an 88 and came with the DB. In trying to install the rear bumper, I bought a set of sliders for the rear bumper. Well in the initial fitment, it seems the sliders will not work with my vert/cabrio. It would be helpful if someone could post a picture of the rear slider/bumper. I am considering mounting the bumper without the sliders as the bumper fits better in that way. I am just hoping that I am not doing anything wrong with the install.

Hey wsup ? you dont need the sliders...
just slap the bumper on and bolt them down from the
bumper shocks and the one screw on the side
from inside the fender well

i started my bumper swap in september. its now feb and i am not even finished.

the sliders don't fit because the coupe sides go in deeper and allow room for the sliders. you have to go without and either drill and bolt or use self tapping screws.
