What do you guys think about this stripe problem

Hey guys i have this stripe on my car that i want to get rid of. I think it takes away from overall clean look my car could have. When i bought it about 2-3months ago a quarter of it was peeled off anyway so i have slowly been peeling it off i am not sure what the best method to remove it is but so far it is leaving some marks and i am curious what you guys suggest i should do about them i have some pictures below

this is the stripe itself, a part thats still intact (excuse the swirl marks i bought the car with them :-( but i am detailing soon to get those out :-D)

and here is what the paint looks like after i peel the stripe away in MOST places.

but the mark that is left behind in some places look like this. it almost looks like it was painted on or something.

so thats basically my problem i am curious if there is a way to get rid of that mark and also if there is a easier way to take the stripes off. They are like a sticker i mean they peel just badly so it takes awhile. WAY into the future i am going to repaint my car anyway but before i polish it i was hoping to get all the stripes off so what do you guys think? thanks in advanced

heat gun and razor blade... and patience.

after that, youll have to cut with sand paper and buff n polish

A body and paint supply will have a special wheel to remove the tape without removing the paint.
